 Exit Slip Nov 12th

I was in group with Ben and Matt today. When discussing about the article, Ben suggested that we need to keep an open mind when doing research or study science. We need to trust science but at the same time, we also need to be vigilant. Many of the proved theories may not necessarily hold to eternity because science is a growing subject. Just like the at the beginning of the human history, people did believe that earth was a semicircle but it turned out to be false. As new scientific researches evolve, the existing knowledge or scientific evidence may be overturned and people will realize what they hold true for the past may not necessarily hold for the future. If we were to allow us to have an open mind, then we have the ability to honor any existing knowledge but at the same time maintain the capacity to think critically.
