Exit Slip
We had an interesting group discussion today. Thinking of mathematics, we always consider it as a logical, concrete and emotionless subject. However, when we connect it to the world we live in, it seems that math is a livable creature who also has emotion. Mathematics actually applies to almost every subject in science and closely connects our daily life.
We also talked about whether we should pray before the starts of each class and our group member disagreed with this practice. We agree that we should respect and accept every religion, culture and beings, but when we have to pray to a God representing one particular religion or culture, we are dismissing the idea of "inclusiveness" and intentionally put one religion over another.
