 Exit Slip Oct.08

I had so much fun today.

From the Zach, Tyler and Wallis' group comment I see the beauty of logarithmic can be explained by music. I agree this would be good way to introduce logarithm to students consider it is a quite dry topic.  In terms of connecting craft with mathematics, my take on this is that people actually are using math do all sorts of things in our daily life although we might not realize there is mathematical concept involved. If we intentionally integrate math into the making of craft, it may not be the most efficient way to teach but it would be more interesting to the students in a classroom, especially when kids are bored of expected teaching routine. In terms of metaphor, I think it would be really helpful to make connections between things, and I totally agree with my classmates that " it is easier to remember an experience than something you have copied down".
